March 2007:  Financial Planning magazine - Fee-based guru Bob Veres wonders, in Managing Growth - Your Way:, Do you really have to get big to keep your practice thriving? February 2007:   Research magazine - In the cover story on how to build a fee-based business, FocusPoint Solutions is featured in a sidebar article. "Advisors are moving to fees for a number of reasons," says FocusPoint founder Brent Hicks, "as a lifestyle choice, to build value in their practice, as a succession strategy, and in an effort to become more of a relationship manager."
